Ezra Dorsey:
Ezra is a tenor vocalist whose performance can take you from Motown era to present day and back again! He sings romantic ballads, funk, pop, classic rock, jazz, inspirational and more. Ezra has performed with Willa Ford, Christina Milian and Crystal Waters at a concert sponsored by KISS-FM in Green Bay, WI. He had the pleasure of opening a concert for Soluna at the Fox River Mall, and a concert for The Neville Brothers at the Appleton PAC. He enjoyed performing to benefit Habitat for Humanity International with the band The Committee at Lawrence University. He also was chosen by Appleton Medical Center to perform for its annual benefit also at Appleton’s PAC. In his earlier years, Ezra performed with the a cappella vocal quartet The B Sharps, with whom he appeared on Channel 11′s ‘Good Morning, Wisconsin’. Ez! You were absolutely amazing! I switched my weddin day (6/25/11) just to have Ezra be a part of it. It was the best decision I made. He was professional and just did an amazing job. Ezra was EXCELLENT! We had a great experience with him. He got people in the mood during dinner and had the dance floor rockin even before the first dance as husband and wife. He did a wonderful job reading our guests and always kept people on the dance floor. The dance floor was still packed at midnight with more than just the bridal party. Ezra was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding. He was a saint to work with and was there for me whenever I needed him. We got so many compliments on him being the soloist at the wedding as well as our DJ. When my fiance and I first got engaged, we were trying to book a live band at our wedding and the plans just didn’t work out. I think this was God at work in our lives, because Ezra was one of the BEST parts of our big day. I wouldn’t have had it any other way! Loved him!

Ezra did a FABULOUS job at our wedding. Everyone had a BLAST dancing to his tunes all night. He is an awesome talent–we couldn’t tell the difference between his voice and the original artist’s voice. My Maid of Honors mom made the comment that she wished her daughter had chosen Ezra as a dj for her November 8 wedding. It was so special that the last song was “our song” serenaded by Ezra. I think Ezra might have found this a little different type of wedding reception. We had a perfect day which lured guests to the outside deck. We also had quite a few things programed (speeches, sparklers, video) which took up quite a bit of time. So… the dancing time wasn’t quite as long as I would have liked to get more of a variety of songs. I think Ezra did a good job and I would recommend him again. I hope he enjoyed it. I would have liked a little more variety during the dancing time, but Jodie and Frank were very pleased. Thank you!

The backround dinnner music was spot on what we envisioned. You have an amazing voice and having you sing our first dance song made it all the more special. In fact, everything you sang was awesome! You dance as well as you sing, and it was great when you came down to party with the crowd (although at one point, Nick was a bit concerned his bride of 4 hours just might choose to go home with the much smoother DJ rather than her new husband!). I just wanted to let you know that I threw a 25th anniversary party for my parents this past weekend and Ezra was abosolutely amazing! Throughout the night people kept commenting on how much fun he was because he was dancing and palying games and singing and just having fun… People could hear the music, but still were able to hold a conversation with others around them… I just wanted to say thanks again, and Ezra truely made the night a great time.
